Temporal Crash
Temporal Crash explores the relationship between time, humans, and success. My paintings use time travel and non-linear understandings of time to free the mind, allowing us to imagine new ways of living and succeeding.
Inspired by 1980s science fiction media, which is simultaneously futuristic and nostalgic, my ideas fall through time, crashing into 1950s space-age furniture design and 1970s Finnish fetish paintings. Rather than replicating nostalgic visuals, I intersect various timelines to create temporal collages.
Rather than escaping to the future, let's break time and revel in its colourful and timeless demise.
